Oh My! Time Flies Fast

So much for that New Years Resolution, huh?

It has been quite a year here in Colorado. I have experienced so much and I still have much more to explore.

I’ve also taken quite a few trips outside of Colorado within the past year. I finally made that trip to Hawaii in May. I fell in love instantly. It reminded me so much of Okinawa. I also flew to Tucson, AZ for my Uncles retirement ceremony. He completed 29 years of active duty service in the Air Force. I was supposed to sing the National Anthem but ended up with a sinus infection. Still, I’m happy that I was able to be there for it.

Work sent me to New Jersey a couple of months ago for some combat training for my upcoming deployment and I got to go back to D.C. for an A+ certification preparation course which I should be taking pretty soon. The highlight of my summer though, was 6^th row tickets for Dave Matthews in Wisconsin! One of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to.

As for here in Colorado, I have gone on a few camping trips, hiking trips, biking trips, and I tried snowboarding before for last season ended. I came home with a black and blue bottom but I had a great time. I look forward to the slopes opening back up so I can give it another go.

Don’t give up on me. I may take longer to post something these days but I’m not gone yet.
