Cuz You Gotta have Friends
I have to admit I have been extremely fortunate in my life. As a Military Brat for 20 years, and with my current occupation, I have lived in many places and I have met lots of people. At each location, and from nearly every significant period, I have a “Best Friend” that I remain in contact with to this very day. I have friends all the way back to grade school that I am still in touch with. Although most of these friendship are now occasional phone calls here and there or a just a Holiday card every December, I know that I can count on each of them if I’m ever in need. I know that you all know who you are and I hope that you know that you have had an impact on my life in some way. We shared great times, not so great times, and some in-between times together and I will forever cherish those moments that I was fortunate to share with you. I can’t wait to see you again. I love you all so much and I look forward to the friendships I have yet to begin.
Yeah, I know that was kinda mushy. I’m still new at this blogging stuff and I’m still a little hesitant with the amount of information I provide about myself. I’m sure it will get better with time.
Tomorrow is my 29th Birthday! I’m really excited about it and I’m trying not to let the fact that I’m only a year away from 30, bug me too much. I mean, we can’t go backwards, right? I went to dinner with one of the above mentioned “Best Friends” tonight and she reminded me of my age, with a giggle. The smile was quickly replaced with a frown that sadly said, “oh yeah” when I reminded her that she is always a year behind me so when we are celebrating my 31st, we’ll be celebrating her 30th I’m not aging alone (love ya, sweetie).

You live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I lived there from '64 to '89. It's really grown since then. Mary Esther Cutoff used to be a sand road... a shortcut! Which beaches do you like? We lived over on Ferry Rd by the Yacht Club.
Calm down babe! I wasn't complaining, I was simply explaining how I came about creating my blog.
Happy Birthday! Hope you enjoyed your day!
