~La~La~La~La~La~

US History is finally History...well at least until I have to take History II. I test for promotion on Monday so I'm studying my ass off this weekend (I'm currently on break). February has been a very busy month for me. I can't wait until next week when I can finally relax. I'm thinking about paying my Uncle a visit in Savannah. He owns a bar out there so it would be the ideal place to unwind.
Well, I need to get back to studying.
Here's a pic of Jenn and I from the Hurlburt Field Annual Awards Banquet. We were selected to sing the National Anthem together and got to sit at the head table.

Happy Birthday Mom

What better way to start off President's Day weekend than by writing long and boring essays on them? This is my last weekend of US History and I have just completed my final papers on our early presidents. I did well on the four from last week and I don't mean to toot my own horn but this set kicks ass.

Back to School

This past weekend I attended my first college class since 1991. I've been working on my degree for over 10 years now. Isn't that pathetic? I'm starting off slow since I'm also promotion testing this cycle so I'm only taking one class this term but I'm not stopping until I'm done this time. I’m currently enrolled in a fast track US History course that is 2 hours long on Friday night, 6 hours on Saturday & Sunday for 3 weeks straight. I have 4 two-page essays to write every week for the duration of the course. What the hell did I get myself into? Ahhhhhhh! It's a good class though and I know I'll pass.
