Ah~Ah~Ah~Ah Choooooooooo…..

I love spring…it means summer is just around the corner but every year my allergies seem to get worse and worse. I haven't even been able to hold a decent conversation without going through a coughing fit due to my dry scratchy throat and every morning for the past two weeks I can barely get ready for work through all of the sneezing.

Okay, enough of my bitching.

Today is St. Patrick's Day! I hope that you're wearing your green.

I have a pretty exciting week ahead of me. Christine and I are going to see 42nd Street in Pensacola tonight. We considered dining at McGuire's on the way but since it's Patty's day we reconsidered. We would probably miss the show.
Mmmmm….Green Beer and Irish Wakes.

Family Reunion in Mississippi this weekend.

Leave in Atlanta next week.

My 30th Birthday!

Lot's of bloggable material coming up.
Keep checking back.

Good Food & No Sleep

Christine and I took a much needed vacation this weekend to Savannah, Georgia. We left Friday afternoon just after work and drove seven hours straight to my uncle's country bar. We didn't even make it to the house until after 5:00 a.m. After very little sleep we ate breakfast and headed out to downtown Savannah to do some touristy things. We took a 90 minute trolley tour of the city which was fantastic. Unfortunately we didn't have a whole lot of time to explore on foot after the tour but we did make it to River Street for some souvenir shopping and grabbed some guides for the next trip. We also attempted to locate the bench that Forrest Gump sat on to wait for the bus but it no longer exists. It was just a temporary prop for the movie. Later we headed back to my uncle's house for Schnitzel and German Potato Salad ~yum, a short nap, then back to the bar for another late night. We left after another delicious breakfast and stopped by Cracker Barrel to pick up an audio book. We got Crazy for You by Jennifer Crusie which was pretty good. I would recommend it for ladies. We got in around 6:00 p.m. where Richard had dinner waiting for us…Shrimp Scampi and Pasta. I got home around 7:30 p.m. and hit the sack zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

Korea Bound

February was quite a busy month for me with school and promotion testing. I did pretty well in my class but I cannot say the same for my test. I did not have a positive feeling when I walked out of the testing room. Now I just have to wait 4-5 months to see how I actually did. Oh the Agony!

Big news! I got an assignment to Osan AB, Korea for a year. Start building your shopping lists. I won't be leaving until next spring and I should find out what my follow-on will be before the end of this summer. Keeping my fingers crossed for Kadena. I'll keep you all posted on that.
