Mississippi Mud

As you all know I'm getting ready for my big deployment. I have spent the last 5 weeks in Mississippi for Army training. Yep that’s right…ARMY training. We have spent long days out in the field learning things that I never imagined I would ever need to know. I'll admit it’s been pretty kick-ass but exhausting as hell. I have learned how to operate an up-armored HUMMV and drive in convoys. I have shot my M16 more times in the past few weeks than I ever have in my 10+ years in the Air Force. I've crawled in the mud, thrown grenades, and walked though mine fields. My last day is tomorrow and I'm excited about getting to my destination, which is yet to be determined, and get this thing started. I have a lot of pictures but it's going to take me some time to upload them all and get them posted. For now, I'm going to say farewell and I'll send out an addy as soon as I get one.
